The Pacific Northwest brings us yet another new musical flavor in the alt hip hop indie fusion trio, Free Creatures. The trio features emcee & producer Marv Ellis remixing original beats on an MPC live while rapping and freestyling in his beloved and charismatic style. Marv is joined by the smooth, sweet, feminine swagger of upright bassist and singer Emily Turner, and the riveting soul effects of intentional riffs and mind-bending solos from electric guitar wizard Skyler Squglio.
Free Creatures have enjoyed steadfast, all-organic, independent growth since their inception in 2019. The group started 2024 off with a bang, opening as direct support for Dirtwire in 8 major cities in the PacNW.
